Xxx, together with representatives and committee members, discussed the reality of the country

As early as 2001, the Robotics and Mechatronics Research Institute of the German Aerospace Center and the Robotics Research Institute of Harbin Institute of Technology established a joint laboratory at the institute level. Since its establishment, the laboratory has successfully developed three generations of robot dexterous hands, space robotic arm principle prototypes, and humanoid disabled prosthetic hands, and has won honors such as the first prize of the National Defense Science and Technology Award for Invention, the first prize of the Heilongjiang Province Technology Invention Award, and the first prize of the European Union Robot Technology Transformation Award.

The joint laboratory will carry out various tasks under the guidance of the space agencies of the two countries, based on the technical cooperation between Harbin Institute of Technology and the German Aerospace Center, gradually expanding to other aerospace fields in China and Germany,? Establish a communication platform for management and research in the field of robotics between China and Germany, a support platform for collaborative projects, and a platform for personnel and information exchange, and explore new models of cooperation in the field of space science and technology between China and Germany.

The Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics at the German Aerospace Center has made outstanding achievements in robotics research. In 1993, it successfully developed a small robot system based on multiple sensors and achieved ground remote control of ROTEX on the Columbia space shuttle for the first time. In 2005, the space dual joint system developed successfully conducted remote force sensing teleoperation experiments on the International Space Station. In terms of robotic dexterous hands, the DLR-I and DLR-II multi finger dexterous hands were successfully developed in 1998 and 2000, respectively, and are widely recognized as the most complex and intelligent humanoid robotic dexterous hands in the world to date.
